In 2005 the Texas Pete Twin City RibFest began in a church parking lot in down-
town Winston-Salem, NC. Its immediate success helped it gain national recognition in
Bon Apetit magazine and MarthaStewart.com, as well as being named Top 20
Event in 2009 and for 2010 by Southeast Tourism Bureau. Its tremendous growth
demanded a larger home in 2009 when the festival moved to the Dixie Classic Fair-
grounds where it once again drew thousands of BBQ and music fans from throughout
the region.
We’re happy to return to the fairgrounds this year with a bigger show. We hope you’ll
join us.
