Texas Pete is new Twin City RibFest Title Sponsor

Winston-Salem, NC – AKA Entertainment & Media is pleased to announce a partnership with Texas Pete hot sauce. A local food icon,
Texas Pete replaces Shiner Bock beer as the title sponsor for the third-annual Twin City RibFest, www.twincityribfest.com , a 3-day food
festival event in downtown Winston-Salem June 14 through June 16. The RibFest’s new official name is the Texas Pete Twin City RibFest.

Last year’s RibFest attracted 30,000 attendees to downtown Winston-Salem. The 2007 Texas Pete Twin City RibFest will once again be
located in the parking lot of First Presbyterian Church between Cherry and Marshall Streets in downtown Winston-Salem. There will be
seven nationally known “ribbers” at the event; including Pigfoot (OH), Chicago House of Ribs (IL), Joey’s Texas Thunder (TX), Sgt. Oink’s  
(OH), Checkered Pig (VA), and Carolina Rib King. (SC). The festival will also include two performance stages with regional and national
music acts; including Confederate Railroad, The Asylum Street Spankers, The Craig Woolard Band, Afromotive and many others.  

Joining Texas Pete as new sponsors for this year’s RibFest are Curly’s Harley Davidson, Thruway Center, Northwest North Carolina YMCA,
and The Gallery Loft Condominiums. They will each sponsor a thematic music segment of the even :

Mad Music Night
on Thursday, June 14; Thruway Center’s Life’s a Beach Night on Friday, June 15;The Gallery Loft Condominium’s
Carolin’ Shine Afternoon
on Saturday, June 16; Curly’s Harley Davidson’s Honky Tonk Night on Saturday, June 16. Two other new
sponsors include Natty Greene beer based in Greensboro, and Hinnant Family Vineyards from Pine Level, NC.

Returning sponsors this year include Majic 94.1 Radio, Coca Cola, IFH ChefSmart, Piedmont Graphics, Hippo magazine, and YES! Weekly.

2007 Non-Profit Partner
This year’s Texas Pete Twin City RibFest non-profit partner will be The Arts Council of Winston-Salem and Forsyth County.
