5:00 PM - Twin City Buskers
Prepare yourself for those great medicine show performers perhaps truest to the
Piedmont’s musical roots, the Twin City Buskers of ....Winston-Salem.., ..North
Carolina....! With arrangements of Blind Boy Fuller ditties, Old Joe Clark covers, and foot
stompin’ Hill Country Blues, the Buskers are making old timey music and straight
natural blues the new green (or is it black?). ....

7:30 PM & 9:15 PM - Jews & Catholics
Winston-Salem's duo-band. We melt faces. Or so we've been told after we've melted a
face. Alanna Meltzer played in orchestras, Eddie Garcia played in bands. You haven't
heard of any of these bands. But he had a great time in them. Alanna played with Kenny
Rogers once........once.  We played our first gig on May 15 of 2005 at The Cat's Cradle in
Carrboro, NC.  We didn't have a drummer then, and we don't have one now. That is how
we like it.  We wised up and bought a PA to travel with, good move we think. North
Carolina is a great state to play music in, we are very fortunate. We thank our friends and
families and bands we've met along the way for all the love and support.

10:45 PM - Holy Ghost Tent Revival
Characterized as "explosively intoxicating," Greensboro, NC's Holy Ghost Tent Revival
cannot be pigeonholed into any popular genre. Melding brass with banjo, guitar, bass,
drums, and keys this six-piece ensemble boasts an eclectic mash of instruments and
styles -- a musical alchemy all their own.

The overall air of their creation breathes a sense of celebration and salvation; of a
raucous party where everyone's welcome and where even the most stoic will find their
toes tapping and a smile breaking free. It's as if, in the same spirit as the blues greats
that traveled the highways of the American psyche before them, theirs is not music to
lament life's hardships but rather to celebrate in life itself; with all its hodgepodge of
pleasure and pain.

It is this transcendent energy that continuously propels Holy Ghost Tent Revival to play
the heart and soul of a North Carolina-born, genre-defying new groove.  With a penchant
for crafting thoughtfully playful lyrics and graced with exceptional musical skills, there are
seemingly no boundaries for this group as they travel the country spreading the magic of
their heart-throbbing, foot-stomping, good-time music.

played in various rock, blues and country outfits in that time, as well as doing his own

positive response from the underground music press and college radio. In 2006 he
released Stinger, an all-acoustic project that has received much acclaim.

8:00 PM - Chase Rice
Many people know Fairview, NC native Chase Rice from his days playing linebacker for
the UNC football team, but these days he's spending his time performing on the stage
rather than the gridiron. Having taken up the guitar in his sophomore year in Chapel Hill
Chase has been a quick study and is now being recognized as an  up and coming
singer/songwriter who draws from real country roots for inspiration. We think he's got a
future making hits, and we're not talking football either.

10:30 PM - Yo' Mama's Big Fat Booty Band website
When the Booty Band hits the stage, everybody dances! Having fun and feeling good is
the philosophy of this Asheville, NC based 6 piece band that has been hitting the road
since 2002. Their mix of triumphant horns, laid-back grooves, and heavy back beats is
what has carried them back and forth across the nation, from club to club, smiling face
to smiling face, day to day, note to note. Adding colorful costumes and interactive stage
personalities is just part of the show,…Booty Band brings the FUNK!

5:00 PM - Matt Walsh
Matt Walsh is a 31 year old Blues vocalist / guitarist / song writer from North Carolina.
His primary sound is rooted in the old school south-side Chicago Blues style of the
1950's with musical detours that venture into Rockabilly, Jump Blues, and 50's Rock
genres as well.

Influenced by Bluesmen like Robert Nighthawk, Howlin' Wolf, T-Bone Walker, Willie
Johnson, Muddy Waters, Robert Lockwood Jr., Eddie Taylor, Elmore James and Johnny

real.

Rated in the top 5 in the nation under the Bluegrass/Acoustic/Americana Band
category by Gigmasters and features former members of Blue Bambooza and Old
Stone Review "named Best Group 2008 by the Winston-Salem Journal". Formed in
late 2008, this group of veteran Triad-NC musicians and friends set out to put
together an all acoustic band, with a heavy Americana mix of tempos and rythms as
well as profound and emotional lyrics of everyday experiences of yesterday and
todays everyday American. With a blend of old time mountain music, jazz, country,
bluegrass, and soul, this group captures the essences of acoustic music by
concentrating more on tone than volume. All members of this group are experienced
and recognizable area musicians all too familiar with the roads and highways that
connect the many live music venues of the southeast and have put what they have
learned about music and life and combined it into a new experience for both the
listener and performer. This is a vocally dynamic and acousticly diverse group.
